Inner Retreat Update

Yesterday I sequestered myself for Day 1 of my inner retreat.  If you have been following me over on my Facebook page you saw how I prepared myself (and hopefully got some useful tools for yourself).  With the exception of this post and a private session with a delightful client, I am again sequestering myself for Day 2 of my inner retreat.  The creative juices are flowing via a couple of avenues.  And today I will birth yet another inspiration.  Here are some things I created yesterday which may inspire you to start your own inner retreat.

The bowl was completed a while ago. It was just waiting for the inspiration of the tree.

 

 

 

Believe it or not this birdhouse has been decorated 4 times.  I think this time It's done.

Decorated with alcohol inks over white acrylic paint. Most of the designs are created with a wax resist technique I’m developing.

No Inner Retreat is complete without great food: Fresh tomatoes and avocados atop lettuce from my garden… garnished with fresh basil, oregano, rosemary and a nasturtium flower from my herb garden.
